Jennifer Skadden
Program Manager
Ms. Skadden has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2003. As an undergraduate student studying Psychology at the University of Houston-Central she was accepted into an internship program at the Texas Young Autism Project (TYAP) working with Dr. Gerald Harris. While at TYAP she was responsible for providing direct services to children with autism ranging from 1-8 years old, training and supervising tutors and parents, as well as program development and data analysis. After three years at TYAP Ms. Skadden chose to leave the organization in order to further her education.
In 2006 she began a Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology, located in Melbourne, Florida. While studying at Florida Tech she worked as a Behavior Analyst with Florida’s Department of Children and Family services program. She gained experience developing individual behavior plans for children and worked closely with the parents and families training them on how to appropriately and effectively implement behavior plans. She also provided workshops and classes specifically for parents, teaching them skills of proactive parenting, how to positively reinforce desired behaviors and strategies for dealing with undesired behavior. Ms. Skadden received her Master’s degree in 2008 and joined NBA in July of that same year.
Ms. Skadden is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA).
Ms. Skadden is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a certified Microsoft ABA provider, and an authorized ABA provider through TRICARE.
